We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to support attorneys with transactional legal work. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role and possess strong administrative, communication, and multitasking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing, proofreading, and organizing legal documents and correspondence.
  • Manage client communications, including scheduling meetings, handling inquiries, and maintaining client files.
  • Perform research to support attorneys legal activities and ensure proper documentation.
  • Assist in reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Organize and maintain digital and physical files, ensuring they are up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Monitor deadlines and assist in preparing documentation for filings or other legal procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably in transactional law.

Job Summary

Hull Barrett, PC, a regional law firm in Augusta, GA, is seeking a full-time, non-exempt Office Coordinator.

This is a broad, hands-on role responsible for the firm’s accounts payable and bookkeeping functions, full-cycle recruiting and onboarding, and company event planning. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple functions at once.

This position will work closely with firm leadership, attorneys, staff, and outside vendors, and reports to the COO/CFO.

 

Responsibilities

  • Process and manage all accounts payable, including bill pay and vendor invoices.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records related to accounts payable.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized documentation for audit and tax purposes.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting, including postings to the company careers page.
  • Coordinate with third-party recruiters and staffing agencies as needed.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
  • Manage interview scheduling and candidate communications.
  • Lead new employee onboarding, including paperwork, orientation, and first-day logistics.
  • Own end-to-end planning and execution of company events, including holiday parties and new employee welcomes.
  • Source, negotiate with, and manage event vendors.
  • Draft and send company-wide communications related to events.
  • Coordinate event logistics, budget tracking, and day-of execution.

 

Skills

  • Accounting software experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Discretion in handling confidential financial and personnel information.

 

Preferences

  • 3+ years of experience in office administration, bookkeeping, HR, or a related hybrid role.
  • Experience with accounts payable and basic bookkeeping practices.
  • Prior recruiting or hiring coordination experience preferred.
